The Global Entrepreneurship Society at UCLA is a student-led organization that empowers aspiring entrepreneurs through hands-on startup experiences. Our core philosophy is “learning by doing”: over the course of intensive programs, students form teams, brainstorm business ideas, conduct market research, build prototypes, and pitch viable startup models. As Vice President of Marketing, I was responsible for managing our public presence, which included updating our Instagram account and website to reflect upcoming events, member stories, and entrepreneurial insights. In Spring 2024, I served as one of the lead organizers of our annual hackathon. I facilitated coordination between participants, helped design and launch the event website, and organized the submission platform for final project uploads. This experience was not only technically demanding but also deeply rewarding, as it allowed me to apply creative problem-solving, communication, and leadership in a high-impact setting.
