We recognize that mental health is vital, especially during a time of intense academic, social, and personal growth. The Bruin MindCare Toolbox is a visual guide we created to support the mental well-being of UCLA students and faculty.
Each “tool” in the box symbolizes a resource or mindset designed to help the Bruin community navigate challenges with resilience and care. Whether it's a crisis support line, counseling service, or simply a reminder to take a breath, this toolbox offers both emotional and practical help.
We designed this as a printable resource that can be posted in bathrooms, lounges, and other communal spaces—making support visible and accessible when it’s most needed. Some words in the graphic are intentionally crossed out to symbolize the fight against harmful thoughts and experiences.
By encouraging awareness, we hope to foster a campus culture where mental well-being is prioritized and every Bruin feels seen and supported.
